An Opportunity and A Request!

30 May 2011 2 Comments

Sadly, due to a recent resignation, there is a vacancy for a Clerk to Paul Parish Council. Meeting are held once every two months and no experience is necessary to qualify for the job! If you are interested in what goes on in your parish, would like to help and can spare the small amount of time involved, please do get in touch with the retiring clerk, David Worledge on 01736 364104.

On a more personal note, Lamorna is in desperate need of representation ideally in both councils that span our village, but this would make an excellent start, so please do consider this opportunity!

    Hi Kate,

Sounds interesting and I agree that Lamorna badly needs representation on both Paul and St. Buryan Parish Councils. There was an idea, once mooted, to try to get a representative on to the Village Hall Management Committee! Don’t know what happened to that.

I am sort of interested, just a bit concerned about making a committment that might end up needing more time spent on it than initialy stated.

Thanks for informative, intersting comments Kate.

Thought it might interest you and yes we do need representation in both parishes. I honestly don’t know how much work is truly involved and it’s one that you’d need to investigate further.
    Lots of loveXXXX
